Dedicated pages that let you customize your session, from Scene Transitions and audio levels to visual corrections and media playback.

The layout is organized into six intuitive pages on the top half—Main, Scenes, Visibility, Media & Audio, Color Correction, and Hotkeys—providing a streamlined user experience with specialized pages that enhance productivity and streamline workflows.

The bottom half remains static and provides reliable control for Scenes and Sources, Scene Transitions and Controls.

Scenes - makes for quick switching between Scenes in OBS, ensuring seamless transitions.

Sources - allows you to select which source to control (such as Rotate, Media, Monitoring, or Audio). This section will populate the Source names from OBS after changing Scenes is complete. Supports 32 Sources max. NOTE: Source selection only affects what will be controlled in TouchOSC and currently does not change or select the source in OBS.

Scene Transitions - offers control over transition effects like Fade, Cut, and more. Buttons and Fader option available for setting Duration, just tap the icon.

Controls - give direct access to Start/Stop Streaming, Recording, Virtual Cam, and Studio Mode.

Choose the version that best fits your OBS setup:

• 32 Scene version: For larger projects with up to 32 scenes.
• 16 Scene version: Ideal for mid-sized setups using up to 16 scenes.
• 8 Scene version: Perfect for smaller setups with 8 or fewer scenes.

IMPORTANT: Make sure the number of scenes in OBS matches the version you choose for smooth navigation and control. For example, if you have fewer scenes (like 6), use the 8 Scene version and add two empty scenes in OBS to ensure the amount of Scenes in TouchOSC and OBS match. This will ensure selecting Scenes and navigation function accurately.

REQUIREMENTS

Wi-Fi Connection - have the IP Address of the OBS Host Computer and the tablet or iPad accessible

TouchOSC (mkII) - Next generation modular control surface. Purchase the TouchOSC app for the iPad or tablet in the App Store or Play Store. Additionally download the TouchOSC desktop version (free w/nagware) for transferring the OBS layout to the iPad or tablet via the TouchOSC network editor. Click link for more info

OSC-for-OBS (by jshea2) - Control and listen to OBS via OSC. Layout designed with v3.1.3 *OSC for OBS v3.x will not work with OBS-websocket v4.9 and earlier. Once installed recommend making a Shortcut for easy access.

MAIN

The Main page offers centralized access to essential controls for managing your OBS workflow. The layout includes important OBS shortcuts, such as Rename, Edit Transform and more, giving you quick access to manage the properties of your sources. NOTE: OBS needs to be the selected or active window for these to function. The Rotate control feature, which allows toggling between quick adjustments with buttons or switch to more precise angle control with an encoder dial. To change the point of rotation open the Edit Transform window and adjust "Positional Alignment" as needed. The Scale function lets you resize your source, but it is important to note that Scale control is dependent on the source currently selected in OBS, not TouchOSC, which may differ.

SCENES

This page provides an efficient and organized way to select Scenes. Instantly switch between pre-configured scenes with a single tap, ensuring a seamless streaming experience. Supports up to 32 Scenes. Choose the version that best fits your project size for optimal navigation and control..

VISIBILITY

Get control over Source Visibility with this dedicated page. Whether you're toggling a webcam feed, an overlay, or other sources, the Visibility page lets you make these adjustments in real time without interrupting the flow of your broadcast. After changing Scenes and transitioning, Source names will populate along with current Visibility status.

MEDIA & AUDIO

The Media & Audio page contains media playback, monitoring and audio controls. Easily control audio levels, mute or unmute sources, and adjust media playback. Perfect tool for streamers who need essential media controls or for any quick adjustment. Media controls are managed by the Source selected in TouchOSC.

COLOR CORRECTION

Fine-tune your visuals with ease using the Color Correction page. Adjust brightness, contrast, and other settings to ensure that your stream looks professional at all times. This page is particularly useful for making live tweaks to their session without diving deep into OBS’s native settings. **Filter must be named 'Color Correction' in OBS in order to function.

HOTKEYS

Speed up your workflow with custom hotkeys designed for instant access to key commands. From starting and stopping your stream to triggering transitions and special effects, the Hotkeys page gives you the freedom to execute complex actions quickly and efficiently. This section relays on an additional OSC Connection. **OBS must be the selected or active window for hotkeys to function.

Once components are installed and functioning a healthy order of operation is

1. Check system tray for TouchOSC Bridge should be up and running,.

2. Then on the device open TouchOSC and open the OBS layout.

3. On the the host computer open OBS.

4. Open OSC-for-OBS and 'Connect'
